Season
[edit]The summer of 2015 marks several departures in Vinovo: Pirlo, Vidal and Tevez leave the club for play in foreign championships.[1][2][3] To counterbalance these sells, the club proceeds to more buys: Alex Sandro, Khedira, Dybala, Zaza and Mandžukić.[4][5] Despite Juventus wins Supercoppa Italiana[6] the line-up revolution looks deleterious as the side opens domestic league losing two first games, against Udinese and Roma: it's the worst all-time start in Serie A for the club.[7][8] During following two months, Juventus does not show a trend expected from reigning champion: they draw against (at least in theory) week opponents, such as Chievo and Frosinone, being instead defeated by Napoli and Sassuolo.[9] Allegri's team get better feedbacks from Champions League, where it ends the group stage with an only, and not heavy, loss.[10]
