[edit]A tag has been placed on We say summer requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Hi, thanks for your message regarding We Say Summer, I deleted the article because I could not see any assertion of importance in the article. Articles on bands must have an assertion of importance in them otherwise they are very likely to be deleted. I would suggest you have a look at WP:Notability (music) which explains how bands can meet the notability guidelines in order to be valid for inclusion on wikipedia.
If you want I can restore the article to your userspace at User:Seagill22/We Say Summer so that you work on the article to meet the notability guideline. Once you feel it has does meet those guidelines it can be moved back to the main article space. I hope this explains the reason why the article was deleted. Davewild (talk) 20:59, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
