Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia by creating the page Sabbath and Seventh-day Baptists. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Rather than deleting it, I've userfied this, meaning that I've put it here, User:Sdbhist/Sabbath and Seventh-day Baptists, in your user space so that you can clean it up. Some suggestions: first, read the material in the above welcome template on how we do things. Second, once it's cleaned up and ready to go live again, calling it simply Seventh-day Baptists. Third, you will need to make this a very neutral, encyclopedic tone. Write like you're an outsider, and an agnostic, merely reporting on the group's existence. You can speak a bit about beliefs, but you're just reportin on them, not promoting them. Emphasize the groups history. Most of all, provide independent, verifiable referneces in footnote form. If, after you have read the material, you have questions on how to do things, let me know and I'll be happy to help out. (Just don't contact me on Saturday!) AKRadecki18:28, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the comments. I appreciate it. I started out just trying to clarify some of the historical facts, as there are pieces of the article on SDB's and the English Dissenters that are factually incorrect. I'm the Librarian-Historian for the Seventh Day Baptist Historical Society, and it is my job to document these kinds of facts. I'll try to get it cleaned up a bit more before I submit the one page, but some of the other information apart from the creation of the new page should not have been removed. I'll be adding it with footnotes shortly.Sdbhist20:58, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
