Citations and "new" materials in lead

Hi, just a note to say, the lead section is not for "new" materials, cited or not: it is a summary of the body of the article, and citations are not normally repeated from there unless specially controversial. As a summary, it makes no sense to introduce materials that are not already present in the rest of the article. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 19:24, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
