[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Politicization of science, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Thank you. HrafnTalkStalk 16:46, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Please read WP:3RR and avoid edit warring. Instead of re-inserting your edits on Politicization of science, which appear controversial and has been rejected by other editors, continue the discussion on the talk page and seek consensus. Vsmith (talk) 23:30, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Where the problem lies
[edit]"My perspectives and my thought are MY OWN, so citing my "sources" is irrelevant."
This indicates you have no idea what Wiki is about or how it works and also that you're in for a very bumpy and uncomfortable ride here.
"Being deleted for a lack of verifiability is profoundly offensive to me."
This indicates you have no idea what Wiki is about or how it works and also that you're in for a very bumpy and uncomfortable ride here.
"I wish I had a better understanding of how to write people directly--it's less-than-optimal to place my comments here."
This indicates you have no idea how it works and you would do well to spend some time learning about how Wiki works before jumping on your soapbox.
If you look at the logo on the top left of the page you'll see it is clealy marked "Wikipedia" and not "Scseigapedia" Angry Christian (talk) 18:36, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
Thanks Vsmith WP:3RR is a great page! I have also enjoyed the welcome material. There is a lot here. Scseig (talk) 21:42, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
Alright Angry Christian, I'm off my soapbox--and learning--I guess it's a challenge to create an authoratative and useful, self-monitored resource. I get it, I get it, I get it! Scseig (talk) 21:42, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
