- An article that you are paid to write is subject to exactly the same policies and rules as any other article, and will be deleted if it does not pass such criteria the same as any other contribution. I am not trying to circumvent ANYTHING. I am waiting for someone to show us some courtesy and fully explain to us what is wrong with the article that needs to be changed. I have not gotten any help from anyone, and therefore my next step is arbitration, since there does not seem to be anyone who understands my intentions. Policies and guidelines
[edit]If you are going to write articles here, paid or not, you must adhere to WP:V, WP:N, WP:RS, WP:NPOV. The subject of your article must satisfy our notability guideline, and all information must be verifiable, neutral (meaning you have to use encyclopedic writing, not marketing writing which is quite different), and referenced using multiple, reliable, third-party sources. Please read ALL of the policies I've linked above thoroughly before you continue trying to write articles here. It may be that the subjects of these articles are not ready or a Wikipedia article. I realize the bind you're in, since presumably your employer told you to do this but if the subjects don't satisfy our policies then it's really out of your hands. Spamming us over and over again will just make more people aware of the problem and will likely result in the article titles being locked out from creation, URLs associated with them being blacklisted and your account being blocked. As I have tried to explain several times, I am not trying to circumvent anything. I am waiting for someone to kindly explain to us, in DETAIL, what needs to be done with the article. That is all. Since I have not gotten the help asked for, I'm afraid arbitration is my next step.
- Well, fine, if you don't actually care to read the guidelines, here are the short versions of each:
- WP:V - Article content must be verifiable, that is, it must have sources that most people can access. It does not have to be online, but at least something they can check out at their local library.
- WP:N - Article content must be notable, that is written about in a number of non-trivial sources that are not connected to the subject. For example, articles about the subject in magazines or newspapers that the subject has no involvement with, or books that mention the subject more than in passing.
- WP:RS - Sources must be reliable, and at least some of them should not connected to the subject.
- WP:NPOV - Articles must be written without any bias whatsoever.
- Also, while not part of the article threats of fines are not acceptable. This place operates off donations, and it is assumed that the vast majority of editors are doing this for free, so you're not getting one cent out of us, bucko. Ian.thomson (talk) 20:31, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
