Weedon Hill
[edit]Hi, I went to add merge tags to Weedon Hill and Berryfields, but notice that you have added a speedy delete tag to Buckingham Park, Buckinghamshire to facilitate a move of Weedon Hill. Is your plan to then merge the Berryfields content in with that article? - Scribble Monkey (talk) 17:45, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- I was heading in that direction. I was just checking if Berryfields was effectively part of the Buckingham Park settlement or had an emerging separate identity. Meantiime was sorting out the Weedon Hill end of things. As I could not find much about Berryfields apart from estate agents blurb, I agree a merger of all three under Buckingham Park seems the way forward.Tmol42 (talk) 17:55, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- Seems like a sensible idea to me. Berryfields can always be resurrected as a separate article if necessary later on. - Scribble Monkey (talk) 21:47, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:MisbourneSchoolLogo.PNG)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:MisbourneSchoolLogo.PNG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 23:34, 21 August 2013 (UTC)
University ranking
[edit]Hi. I just tried to make fairly enough information among universities. So if you want to put the national ranking for Sussex from QS rankings, can you do that for all other universities as well? Besides, few weeks ago, I found out a lot of mistakes occurred in the ranking parts of some Universities as well. And I fixed them already. --Justin0402 (talk) 16:17, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
- I have added or updated various rankings for specific universities and groups, as have other editors including yourself. Even if all rankings are not included for all universities, that does not justify removing any properly sourced rankings. - Scribble Monkey (talk) 09:14, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
Taplow
[edit]Hi, I reverted your change to the Taplow article, as it is in fact in Buckinghamshire. Postal addresses for Taplow often use Berkshire because that is where the postal town of Maidenhead is, but Taplow itself is in Buckinghamshire. - Scribble Monkey (talk) 09:04, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
Policy discussion
[edit]Your vote in the 'no paid advocacy' discussion seems to be in the wrong location. You are clearly opposed to the policy change but you put your vote in the section talking about closing the discussion. I didn't want to move it up to the main voting section as it it your edit. Just an FYI. Capitalismojo (talk) 16:42, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing that out. I got completely lost in the edit view and was working my way up from the bottom of the page. - Scribble Monkey (talk) 21:32, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
Russell Group
[edit]If you are going to use the date they received a Royal Charter as the established date, perhaps you would like to update Oxford and Cambridge. - Scribble Monkey (talk) 19:27, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- I did! Originally, until some ip's came along and changed it Aloneinthewild (talk) 19:54, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- Fair enough. - Scribble Monkey (talk) 09:21, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
