[edit]Hi, I saw where you tried to link a whole bunch of artists and song titles. I undid it because all the songs were redlinks, not least because you had quotes inside the link. You would need "[[song title]]", not [["song title"]]. Please also be careful with names; lots of names are the names of several people. For example Chris Brown is a link to a list of those people, called a disambiguation page. If you're going to link, then you need to find the right page title. In that example, it would be Chris Brown (singer) but there's no hard and fast rule, you just have to check each one. Feel free to leave a message on my talk if you have questions, --AndrewHowse (talk) 21:38, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Scrappy. [1] There is the diff. Take a look at it and see how a lot of extraneous material was added. Things like: "begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 1-800-DIAL-MTV end_of_the_skype_highlighting'", and "== Retirement Home ==" - if you're having problems with formatting, please see WP:HELP for information on how to correctly format a page so your next edits won't be reverted. Regards, --Manway (talk) 06:22, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
- What does a retirement home have to do with TRL? And what's with the Skype highlighting? --Manway (talk) 06:43, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
- Ah. I see what happened. You reverted an IP's edit with the Skype crap in it, but when you went back to edit, it somehow crept back in. Yes, now that you mention it, I do remember the video "retirements", although I don't remember the term "retirement home." You need to go back and "restore" an earlier version, one with the Retirement section but without the Skype stuff. I believe what happened was that Calmer Waters and I saw the Skype babble, and hit "revert." Make sense now? --Manway (talk) 06:43, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
