LWB Range Rover

[edit]

Are you sure you tagged the green Range Rover in the article Range Rover Classic properly? It definitely doesn't look like a LWB to me, but if you're sure.. Lewis Collard 23:24, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm.. well i don't think it's from 1986. it has 5-spoke rims, which were used 1991-1995. Also, there are no airbag crush-cans on the bumper so it's a 1994 or earlier.

My guess is it's a LWB.. the bottom sill of the rear door on the SWB usually looks really compressed in a perspective view (http://www.rangerovers.net/modelspecs/1995swbgreen.jpg) and i vaguely recall in an older version the original poster claimed it was a LWB he took a pic of in germany (berlin?).

Maybe i'll open it in photoshop and put a ruler up to the screen to figure it out for sure..... scottt 07:33, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm.. black bumpers are apparently the hallmark of SWB models in north america (http://www.rangerovers.net/modelspecs/1993.html) scottt 07:37, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for verifying that. :) Lewis Collard 16:44, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
