They have a SOFTBALL as the icon. Wahkeenah 16:22, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- I replaced it in the project template, with a baseball you might find at K-Mart. I'll see if I can find a "real" (i.e. major league) baseball somewhere. Wahkeenah 17:19, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Here is a photo of a Major League Baseball (store-bought, not caught at the game). I think I could do better, so I'm not ready to replace all the Little League usages with this one. Wahkeenah 01:41, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- That looks fine. Although removing glare would be nice. — Scm83x hook 'em 03:35, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- When I get a better photo, I'll just overlay this one, and it should take care of itself. Wahkeenah 03:38, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What is the correct tag for the image you keep deleting on Jasper High School? --Longhornsg 22:31, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I saw your reason for deleting the Allen Eagle Escadrille and now I agree with it. I would like to also see if we can delete or merge the article of Allen High School. It is quite often under the quality of Wikipedia;s standards, it is a non-notable school and its students keep adding irrelevant and inappropriate content to this article, I would like your support in this. DanielES15 02:48, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- I see your point in that. It is definetly a school that needs watch on school-cruft so I will put it in under watch to see the changes that have been made. Over the weekend since I have some I'll try to clean the article a bit as it is really disorganized and find some sources to verify the information. Thanks for your suggestions DanielES15

- Can you as an admin withdraw the nomination as notability is under http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Schools --DanielES15 23:17, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your Review
[edit]I removed some of the paragraphs you deemed unimportant, however, I do not know why you want me to remove all the faculty and student information. If it is wrong just copied from the fact sheet, then why, is this correct? (The part about the class profile) It is straight copied as well. Also, about the campus additions--how are those incorrect? --Longhornsg 02:45, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
To Make way for ducklings, I think we could make this a small FA :) Judgesurreal777 17:14, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I fixed the PISD template so it is now standalone instead of a redirect to Dallas ISD WhisperToMe 03:31, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
FYI, the Plano Boys Soccer Team has won the state championship five times. [1] --Longhornsg 01:47, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the West Wing LPT Barnstar! --Hnsampat 22:23, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Since we both seem to be working articles toward the same goal, do you mind taking a look at Kroger Babb for me if you have a moment? It hasn't gotten a good, thorough proofread yet, and I think t's GA material as is, but I'm looking for input anywhere I can get it. Let me know if you have a few spare minutes and you're able to look at it. Thanks regardless. --badlydrawnjeff talk 02:57, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I am confused on the featured articles. Did you create the West Wing Page? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by TonyTheTiger (talk • contribs) .
- No, I did not create it. But I was the person who took charge of improving it to featured article status last December. — Scm83x hook 'em 21:36, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I propose an article on the topic, quite a giant killer.

Thanks for your comment and it was a pleasure to support the nomination. I didn't add my support earlier, as I had no previous experience of WP:FAC, so I had to do a little bit of reading first. Prolog 02:57, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for fixing the template UGAcats - I did not know the policy regarding logos in the template space. I guess learning the nuances of Wikipedia is one of those things that is never-ending. --Tlmclain | Talk 13:14, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! I'm trying to re-work all the Bevo references into in-line references. It looks like you want to make subsequent occurances of the references into short form? I'm fine with that. I usually don't do it because I'm paranoid the first instance will get removed, but this aritlce doesn't get that many edits so it should not be a problem, hopefully. I'm going to finish in-lining the existing references now, unless you are still working on it at the moment? Johntex\talk 19:46, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- I'm done in-lining the references, thanks. Johntex\talk 20:05, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- No trouble at all. The short way definitely has its advantages, and it is probably best for articles that are not heavily editted. In fact, I plan to convert the 2005 UT football article to that style right before trying to submit it to FA. Same for the 2006 article. I figure it will look better and also help shorten these longer articles. Johntex\talk 20:14, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please use your common sense
[edit]Trivia is something what is for most people notable and not really important. There is no vandalism in presenting unessential and funny informations.
It's easy to you as an admin to force your subjective opinion and show your power even on something so unessential and irrelevant as trivia section. We, ordinary users, can't do anything about it. Ervinfarago
Fan of Beverly Hills Cop
[edit]Zimbabweed is probably from Zimbabwee :) and not a fan of this movie. NHF. Let's vote.
I'm leaving wiki for a while, have other really important things to do than it's forwarding trivia about late GF, whom BTW, I really respect as one of the best USA presidents and good persons. If you and Zimbabweed think about this trivia as something improper in this time of mourning, I'll be back :) later.
Best regards! Ervinfarago
Just one observation
[edit]Hello Scm83x! It's interesting why do you allowed trivia how Ford was caricatured in The Simpsons episode "Two Bad Neighbors", but didn't allowed trivia regarding how Ford was caricatured in one scene of famous "Beverly Hills II" movie. It's not a major issue, just wondering about criteria for trivia writting. Best regards! Ervinfarago
- The Simpsons reference comments on the comparison between Homer and Ford, making a social commentary on the bumbling nature of the former President. I believe your reference simply states that Ford's name is mentioned. This is akin to adding a trivia note that Johnny Carson mentioned Ford on The Tonight Show one night in 1975. It's incredibly inane. — Scm83x hook 'em 11:45, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Let's trivia stay trivia
[edit]The same bumbling nature (and similar look) have Det. Taggart, character in Beverly Hills Cop II movie. So it's a kind of social commentary too. To believe and to know for sure are 2 different things ;) Probably is my mistake for creating an impression of just mentioning Gerald Ford by Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy). IMHO there is no need for deletion but for completion or correction.
P.S. I hope this answer is placed correctly under 17.4. If isn't, sorry. I'm still learning. Ervinfarago
