Potential future question
[edit]How hard would it be to produce a list of X about butterfly and moth species in Wikipedia which have the phrase "described by X in"? In this case X would be 1 to 10 names, initials or prepositions. Following "in" would always be a four digit number (year). All results would include "Order Lepidoptera". The desired result would be a list of what X equals with its frequency. It would also be useful to know if X is linked or not, so there might be a separate X for "described by [[Eugene G. Munroe|Munroe]] in".
For instance "described by Munroe in" now has 251 results and "described by Eugene G. Munroe in" has 7 results. I'd guess there are between 1000 and 4000 Xs which would have one or more result. It is possible that there would be more than one in an article, but that would be rare.
I've been gradually working through a list I've made manually at User:SchreiberBike/Workspace/Described by which just has the Xs. It's likely I've missed many though and I'd like a double check.
Also "erected by" in place of "described by".
and "described by" can be in the form "described by" or "first described by".
