As per requested by Wikipedia, I have made changes to the article "Bay View Academy", due to copyright issues, according to the message that I have received.

I have changed many sentences in my own words including the replacement of many basic and key words.

I have still left many references and key sentences from the website, as requested by the school themselves, as it would only be fair to them to describe the key aspects of their school in their own words.

The 'History' section was a direct copy from 'http://www.bva.edu.pk/user/Content.aspx?pg=History'. This has now been amended as I have added more content to the sentences, changed basic words and replaced many key words. This removes the problem of any copyright issues it has and of it being a "direct copy" as it has now been re-written. Also, I have given a reference to the web page, in the 'References' section, so that there is no accusations of unfair use, even though there shouldn't be any in the first place.

The 'Curriculum' section was, from the start written in my own words, so there were no changes made to that.

The 'Extra Curricular Activities' section has many words added to the sentences taken from the website so therefore, it is not "a direct copy" of the web page; 'http://www.bva.edu.pk/user/Content.aspx?pg=Extra_Curricular_Activities'. Also, I have given a reference to the web page, in the 'References' section, so that there is no accusation of unfair use, even though there shouldn't be any in the first place

The 'Co-Curricular Activities' section has many new words added to them, the sentences have been changed around and many new ones have been added as well, once again removing the problem of it being a "direct copy" from the web page (http://www.bva.edu.pk/user/Content.aspx?pg=Co-Curricular_Activities). I have also given a reference to the web page in the "References" section just in case.

Many sentences in the first paragraph of the section "Today" are a copy from the website. This is because this one of most important paragraphs in the entire article as it describes the school's facilities and it should only be said in the words of the creators of the school, themselves. I have given a reference to the web page in the 'References' section with the clear name of "Facilities offered at BVA", to avoid any problems and make it clear that I have refereed to the particular web page in that section of the article. Though, I have added and changed a few, minor words from the paragraph. The other two paragraphs in the section are my own words, completely.

The section "South Shore" is in my own words.

So, as per requested I have made changes to the article, in respect of the Wikipedia rules. I will now publish the article on Wikipedia. If there are any other problems that this article is creating, please tell me as will gladly amend them.

Thankyou

I do not see any substantive difference between your text and the text on the website. Doing a close rewrite of copyrighted text is still a copyright violation. Hairhorn (talk) 18:30, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
