Vancouver Canucks task force
[edit]Hey! I noticed you spend a bit of your time on Wikipedia editing Vancouver Canucks related articels. I have been thinking about starting a Vancouver Canucks task force under WikiProject Ice Hockey for some time now, and am now going into the stage of gathering interest, seeing if anyone would actually be interested in joining. I've made a temporary page for the task force at User:Nurmsook/Vancouver Canucks task force. Basically, I just need to get enough members before I actually launch the task force. I still have to create some templates and alter a few that already exist once I get enough members, so hopefully you will be interested! If you would like to help out, please add your name to the list at User:Nurmsook/Vancouver Canucks task force#Participants. Thanks! – Nurmsook! (talk) 00:04, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- I have gone ahead and launched the task force. It can be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Ice Hockey/Vancouver Canucks task force. If you'd like to add a userbox to your userpage, feel free to add {{User WikiProject Ice Hockey/Vancouver Canucks}}. Basically, for the first little while here, I'll be tagging all applicable pages with the task force option on the talk page. From then on, it'll just be general improvement of the Canucks related articles. Feel free to take any route you please with this task force. Hopefully we can make some great improvements to these articles! – Nurmsook! (talk) 22:42, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
World Juniors
[edit]I noticed you added the phrase "only teams in the top group are eligible for a medal" to the 2010 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships article. Is this really true? I thought they awarded gold, silver and bronze to the top three teams in Division I, II and III. I could've sworn I've seen a picture of a medal from this level before. - Since neither of us have any evidence to the contrary, I'm sure we can leave it as is until someone finds something definitive. I was just curious since you seemed to be up on international hockey more than I am. Shootmaster 44 (talk) 04:11, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
- Each group awards medals. The medals are engraved with the year and division.Raul17 (talk) 22:30, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
NHL 11, NHL 2K11 and NHL Slapshot
[edit]You used to work with those articles a few days ago? Why not go back to working on those articles? Or are you currently reviewing articles? I see that you became a reviewer yesterday. /Heymid (talk) 09:57, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Finally...
[edit]Finally, we have a official source for Jonathan Toews as the cover for NHL 11. My question to you: Do you still think that it was a good idea that we waited a day for the claims to be confirmed? /Heymid (talk) 19:04, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, for me it was OK. I don't mind reverting that much. It's just being patient because most of these guys are trying to help, but they still have to know WP's policies. I find that most sports games have pretty terrible articles so I'm just trying to have one that's done right from the start.
- And considering the vast numbers of unconfirmed songs continually added to Rock Band DLC, Rock Band 3, etc., it's actually not bad at all. –Schmloof (talk · contribs) 19:13, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- I completely understand your opinions.
- P.S: I just want to tell you that it is Visual Concepts which is developing NHL 2K11, not 2K Sports. /Heymid (talk) 19:44, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- Good to know, thanks. –Schmloof (talk · contribs) 19:47, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- ... because you wrote "2K Sports" on NHL 11 and NHL Slapshot. /Heymid (talk) 19:50, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- Good to know, thanks. –Schmloof (talk · contribs) 19:47, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
Direct link to actual image
[edit]I just saw your uploading of File:NHL_Slapshot_stick.jpg. The source link was linked to the main page of EA Sports NHL Slapshot. The next time, it could be better if you provide a direct source to the original image, which I did here. /HeyMid (contributions) 15:53, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
Hi again! I have expanded the demo paragraph in the article, moved it down and to a new section named "Demo". Take a look and see if the things I've written there are good enough. However, maybe the section should be moved up a little bit? /HeyMid (contributions) 20:07, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
- Well, in a perfect world, the demo would be in a "Development" section, which would be locating somewhere in that vicinity. So in my opinion, it's fine there, but if you want to move it up, go ahead. –Schmloof (talk · contribs) 01:01, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
