[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in The Blue Party (Germany), disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Balon Greyjoy (talk) 12:10, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
Blue Party
[edit]Hello Schellhörnchen, thank you for your comments regarding the Blue Party. My motivations for reducing the English WP article are the principles of notability and evidence that guide English Wikipedia. The Blue Party is more notable and more important to readers from Germany than in the global context. How often was the Blue Party mentioned by English language press and media? Hardly at all. How many reliable, third party english-language sources are there to substantiate assertions in the article? Also very, very few indeed. Wikipedia does not need exhaustive depth on articles on everything. It suffices that German Wikipedia has more information, calling on German-language sources to substantiate its claims. The Blue Party is, in my mind, notable enough to merit an article in English Wikipedia, but are international readers really well-served by a greater level of detail? I'd be interested to hear your view. Please respond in English to allow others to follow our conversation and formulate their own opinions. It's neither for you nor me to decide on the way forward, the article belongs to all. Kind regards Guffydrawers (talk) 08:56, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
