[edit]Hello, I'm Hrodvarsson. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Michael J. Fox have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. Hrodvarsson (talk) 23:01, 18 September 2018 (UTC)
Monica Seles
[edit]Hopefully, this is better. I’m a Wikipedia novice. Yugoslavia is a defunct country as you should know. Could you not refer to Seles as a ‘Yugoslav-born former tennis player’ or ‘a retired tennis professional with Hungarian and American citizenship who represented the USA and the former FR Yugoslavia’? By referring to her as Yugoslav, you are misleading people to think Yugoslavia is still in existence, which is factually incorrect? Look forward to your response Scf1985 (talk) 17:37, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
Edit warring at Monica Seles
[edit]See User talk:EdJohnston#Monica Seles article where User:KIENGIR has filed a complaint about your edits. You can respond there if you wish. The area of the former Yugoslavia has been the subject of many disputes; hence, administrators like myself are sometimes called upon to intervene. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 15:58, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
I can't be arsed to go on with this debate, to be honest. I have absolutely no desire to respond to Kiengir's complaint, as it gives that user something to boast to their cyber friends about. Also, Wikipedia is a nightmare to use when you're a beginner. Kiengir says he/she posted a 'Talk' link for me to respond, but when I clicked on it, there was no option where I could make my comments as Wikipedia just sent me round in circles. I'm going to let this go, because I have a life and I've spent enough time ****ing around trying to work out how to respond to a basic message.
- Excuse me, you invent many things that have no connection to the reality, yes, you are a beginner, a very one, and I did not sent you any link, I told to discuss at the the talk page, as every article has a talk page....simply you click there and after new section, etc. As well, you harmed a bunch of Wikipedia rules and I was kind not to report you because then you'd be already blocked, but asked a help of an admin to try to negotiate with you. Check WP:3RR, and WP:CONSENSUS. In case you let this go, than regard this message void, but please understand here there are community rules and guidelines we all have to follow. Anyway your last edit "Yugoslav and yugoslav" could have also been identified possibly as a non-good faith edit.(KIENGIR (talk) 19:48, 10 December 2018 (UTC))

[edit]Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Kirsty Gallacher. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - FlightTime Phone (open channel) 20:37, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Graham Nash does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! - FlightTime Phone (open channel) 20:39, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
Emily Blunt nationality
[edit]I noticed your edit on Emily Blunt's page, there is a consensus that was reached to describe her as "British-American" in the lead sentence. So, why keep changing it without getting another consensus? (Which goes against guidelines). I mean you could easily start another RfC and get it changed properly.Fundude99talk to me 03:42, 26 February 2019 (UTC)

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Emily Blunt; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
It looks like 3 editors have reverted you since you changed the article on Sep 4. Since that time you have reverted those editors 3x and are dangerously close to WP:3RR. Please stop the edit warring and try to convince others at the talk page. Fyunck(click) (talk) 22:35, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
