Some ideas
[edit]Hi! I'm writing to you about your additions to Manuel Belgrano and Paraná River. It's always good to have contributors looking around and finding useful comments to add to articles, but you should try to keep some guidelines. In general, it's not considered a good practice to add text that contains subjective content (such as "the river is a beautiful view") or that presents hearsay or legend as fact (as you did with the origin of the colours of the Argentine flag). See Wikipedia:NPOV, Wikipedia:Sources and related. Both opinions and "popular knowledge" should be backed up with quotes and references to reputable sources of information, which must be mentioned at the bottom of the article. When you have something non-trivial to add, also, it's often a good idea to discuss it first in the article's discussion page, for other contributors to see. Thank you!
PS: Also, check before creating articles, in case the article is already there... I mean Battle of Caseros, for example. The safe way to go in this case is, first look for another article (e. g. Juan Manuel de Rosas) and see what it links to. --Pablo D. Flores (Talk) 12:21, 18 October 2005 (UTC)
Please
[edit]Please, stop adding original research articles such as Royal Pragmatic on Marriage, that don't even respond to the Wikipedia format. We understand you are 'probably new to the wikipedia and your errors respond to your inexperience, but if you continue to ignore the messages you've received you will leave us no choice but to consider you a sockpuppet, resulting in your (at first temporal) blocking form the system.
Hope you understand and you can join us as regular contributor. Please, take a look at the article Mariquita Sánchez that you created and Pablo D. Flores fixed for you.
