Signature spelling: "Your's"
Hi Soumyabrata, I noticed your signature is currently:
Just wondering if you'd thought of changing it from "Your's" to "Yours" (i.e. "Yours sincerely"), in line with standard spelling of the phrase (for example, see Valediction#English)? Unless, that is, you're deliberately trolling us grammar fiends! (In which case it's totally working ) Keep up the good editing work either way! Yours pedantically, ‑‑Yodin[[User talk:YodinT]|] 16:52, 6 July 2019 (UTC)
- Actually, I have not so much practice at writing hand-written letters (because the Digital Age). Anyway, I fixed the signature.
- —Yours sincerely, Soumyabrata 17:02, 6 July 2019 (UTC)
- Oh, sorry! Thanks for the fix, and for your work here on WP! ‑‑YodinT 18:36, 6 July 2019 (UTC)
Esperanto alphabet – chart of letters pronounced differently than in English
I have reverted* your deletion of the second chart in Esperanto § alphabet.
- It provides useful information to English-speakers interested in Esperanto, i.e., the target users of the article.
- You left no edit summary, as you have repeatedly been asked to do and promised to do:
It looks as if your deletions are getting close to I don't like it, which is an unacceptable reason for deletion.
* And while I was composing and annotating this message, you reverted my undo without answering my edit summary, "This is a useful table and user gave no reason for deletion." Well, you couldn't know I was writing this, but your behavior is getting awfully edit-warrish.
By the way, once this mess is cleared up and you stop removing without discussion, I'm going to add "j" to the table, since its pronunciation in Esperanto, like that of "c", is notably different from in English.

- I don't think that's what you meant to say. A South American is a person from the continent of South America. Y'all is typical of Southern dialects of American English, whose speakers are usually called Southerners. --Thnidu (talk) 06:21, 11 July 2019 (UTC)

Template:Infobox time zone UTC
So, were you successful in implementing a merge of Template:Infobox time zone UTC into Template:Infobox time zone? I ask since the discussion about that has now been closed, apparently without regard to whether the merge was actually likely to happen. - dcljr (talk) 06:56, 16 July 2019 (UTC)
- That project is currently abandoned. I need to be familiar with how the templates work. —Yours sincerely, Soumyabrata 06:59, 16 July 2019 (UTC)

Assembly of the International Space Station
Hello, I noticed your edits to the Assembly of the ISS page removed the planned modules from the main table. Is there a reason that was done? Proposed modules are still listed on the page, so I figure that planned modules which are funded and in some cases complete and awaiting launch should have a place on the page. Deletion of maintenance templates
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from SPQR. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Citizendium Porting stubs
A tag has been placed on Category:Citizendium Porting stubs requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Cross-namespace redirects
Hi Soumya, thanks for your comments at RfD! I noticed you were recommending speedy deletion on a lot of cross-namespace redirects and wanted to point you to the relevant criterion. Speedy deletion does not apply to cross namespace redirects if they point to the Wikipedia: namespace which is why Xeno nominated them at RfD instead of deleting them himself. You may want to revise your comments. Best, Wug·a·po·des 20:39, 29 September 2019 (UTC)

Please be careful
You were correct in that user ULA_christa has a conflict of interest and thus should be cautious about directly editing the ULA article, but please refrain from directing people before you are sure you understand WP policies and procedures. The COI noticeboard, as it says, is to discuss, after the fact, suspected violations of conflict of interest edits. It is not the proper place to propose potential COI edits; that place is the article's talk page. It sounds like ULA christa is very well aware of our policy, and is already doing the right thing by declaring her conflict and asking first instead of directly making the edits. Understanding "consensus"
As long as you write such phrases as "I had another consensus change" and "My new consensus is" (Talk:Artemis 1), you don't understand what WP:consensus means. The word as used here is defined as "the judgment arrived at by most of those concerned" (Merriam-Webster). It does not mean your (or anyone else's) opinion; you cannot "have" a consensus. .. here [1].
If you think that "capitalise" is wrong then you are just plain wrong. It is good British English. It is the spelling that was used in the initial creation of the article. Please read MOS:RETAIN. Philip Trueman (talk) 16:01, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
Pertaining to Removal of text from List of Easter Eggs in Tesla Products
Hello. Pertaining to the removal of "Starship|" and "]], the second stage of the SpaceX Interplanetary Transport System also known as [[BFR (rocket)|BFR" may I ask what was the reasoning? There was no edit summary. As far as I can tell, this is accurate and useful information for context and creating flow through for other topics. I will add the info back in a modified way that I hope to be a good compromise. Happy to discuss further. Chronic absence of edit summaries.
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Rowan Forest (talk) 16:44, 10 November 2019 (UTC) The issue persists. While most of your edits are legitimate and useful, a summary is a requirement, if not a courtesy. But this deletion without a word is plain disruptive [2]. Rowan Forest (talk) 20:07, 20 November 2019 (UTC)

ArbCom 2019 election voter message
Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!
Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.
Thank you!

Your revert at SpaceX Starship
Hi, could you please give a reason when you revert changes like this one? The image shows an outdated concept, I wanted to clarify that in the caption. --mfb (talk) 00:35, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
- No need to clarify that. The word "carbon-fibre" on the caption says that the Starship on that artist's concept is not made out of stainless steel. --Soumyabrata (talk • subpages) 03:42, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
- Someone checking the picture only might get the idea that this is a recent illustration. Yes, they will see that it is not stainless steel, but they will not learn that carbon fiber (and overall: this picture) is outdated - and just there because we don't have a more recent illustration. --mfb (talk) 04:08, 16 December 2019 (UTC)

The article Globasa has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
WP:CRYSTAL. Unsourced. The source article, eo:Globasa, is also unsourced.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Cabayi (talk) 10:08, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
