Welcome

[edit]

Hello, Sawan183, and Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits to pages HAL Tejas and CAC/PAC JF-17 Thunder did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and were removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Hope you like the place and decide to stay. Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome.  -Fnlayson (talk) 20:37, 25 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Fnlayson, I am adding the references on the HAL Tejas page now and on JF-17 page, thing which i am editing is incorrect with no references either take it out or i have to keep editing it till someone adds any references or takes it out cuz it has no references and the range is so exaggerated which is not even possible in reality.

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to HAL Tejas and CAC/PAC JF-17 Thunder, without citing a reliable source(s). Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -Fnlayson (talk) 20:52, 25 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey buddy, I wanna have a conversation with you please drop a link of your Facebook account so I can contact you as I don't know how to write you on Wikipedia, thanks.

Just edit this page or Talk:HAL Tejas like any other page. You can also leave a message to any editor on their own user talk page, just like Fnlayson and I are doing here. Meanwhile I would warn you very strongly to stop reverting other experienced editors. This is called edit warring and may get you blocked or banned - see WP:WARRING. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 16:02, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What is your problem in naming "dumb" bomb as "Unguided" bomb while both mean the same but "Unguided" more technical and can't you read in the reference that the radius of action of HAL Tejas is 500 kms in the link and not 300 kms why you guys keep changing, i strongly oppose your childish actions, please go and read the reference i am providing, it is an official written press release by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India when HAL Tejas was awarded IOC-II in December, 2013 and I don't know how to chat with editors on Wikipedia, please read the reference given instead of keep your immature attitude and always changing the correct information.

If you go to the HAL Tejas article and click the "View history" tab above the article title, you will see a list of all the edits that have been made, together with comments on why those changes were made. If you still wish to ask for more information, don't plead that you do not know how, I told you: go to Talk:HAL Tejas and edit that page to ask your question. Somebody posted some useful links above here for you to find out more. You should do that, nobody will have sympathy for long if you can't be bothered to find out how our community works. We all had to. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 18:01, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at HAL Tejas shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. - Ahunt (talk) 16:23, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Look guys i dont know how to use the talk page and you guys have also reverted more than 3 times so stop playing around with me, my reference is from the official site of the Government of India and you guys even have problem with naming "dumb" bomb as "Unguided" bomb while both mean the same? Really? so immature, you guys are prone to block too, dont threat me ok? I know im doing the right thing, i am correcting the information unlike you guys trying to keep the outdated info on the page instead of updating. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sawan183 (talkcontribs)
Go to the article you wish to talk about, such as CAC/PAC JF-17 Thunder (where you are also now warring) or HAL Tejas. Just above the article heading you will see a row of tabs. Click the tab marked "Talk". This takes you to the article's talk page. You may edit this page like any other page. For more information about how to use talk pages, see Help:Talk. If you do not stop warring in the mean time you are likely to be blocked. Seriously. you come onto Wikipedia without a clue how our community works and you start "playing around" with us, as you put it. You do need to take time to find out how we work, and not just confront us aggressively like this, or the community will defend itself. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 17:53, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edit used an edit summary that was uncivil. Wikipedia requires us to be civil in our interactions to facilitate building the encyclopedia. - Ahunt (talk) 17:14, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Haha xD Cuz of you guys Wikipedia is a joke for me and my trust is over too just like alot of other people, thanks alot, you guys can't even READ from the references by official sites and editing whatever you please and whenever someone corrects it, you incorrect it Wow! Amazing! If you wanna gang up like this and put wrong info on the world's most trusted site then good luck with that! And i cant find the talk page btw i tried maybe its not showing on my phone and good luck im not gonna trust Wikipedia anymore cuz their are some ASSHOLES on it editing the way they please... yea be the boss, good luck with that.

And i STRONGLY oppose your edits cuz you guys have NO references whether it be JF-17 page or Tejas page, you guys are editing according to your own wish Shame! Or you guys can't read. So if you will keep up your games then i will delete all the info with no references and keep doing it and tell my other friends to do the same to stop your wrong editions so if you dont wanna go there then please read the links properly and dont edit to your own wishes or without links or references. Or i will delete everything with no references, thanks :)

And i CAN'T let you guys edit the wrong information with no references cuz alot of people rely on Wikipedia, you guys simply edit wrong info without references that sucks! Plus you guys dont read others references before you revert it back.

Plus if you wanna have a debate on the HAL Tejas page or JF-17 page, we can resolve the differences here and make a final edition based on references instead of cancelling each other's edits cuz its endless, plus i cant find talk page of tejas or jf-17 so we will have to do it here and we guys love Aviation so lets not ruin it.

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for abuse of editing privileges, as you did at HAL Tejas. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  MilborneOne (talk) 00:31, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

These guys were telling me to talk on the "talk page" and now im ready for it but they don't wanna talk and instead keep on editing the pages they want Haha xD Heights of double standards, Wikipedia shouldn't have allowed pubic for editing cuz some people are having real fun editing stuff the way they want ;) and keep it up with the block thing to stop me from editing the right thing Haha xD but u just can't stop me forever ;) :D

I told you above how to use the talk pages but you ignored me. I warned you that edit warring could get you blocked but you ignored me. Now I warn you that you can be blocked indefinitely, among other things. You can join our community and learn to work by our rules or you can ignore me again and get yourself blocked more permanently - the choice is yours. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 19:15, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Another common stupidity people think is clever is to create a "sockpuppet" - another user account for themselves - such as User:AviationLover7 appears to be. That is a great way to get yourself permanently blocked across a whole range of options. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 19:22, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Haha xD I ignored you??? Didn't i tell you that i dont have "talk" option above the topics i cant even send the screenshot in here, i even requested editors to talk here about the edition of the above pages and get to a final conclusion but they are still editing the way they want? And you gonna just keep blocking me even if i can provide better editions with references on some pages. Is this the way you gonna run things? In one place i replaced, "dumb" bomb with "Unguided" bomb cuz when i 1st read dumb i couldn't get it then later i searched, its originally referred as "Unguided" but later all editors keep on naming it "dumb" and then one editor, Fnlayson named it "gravity" and nobody reverted it "dumb" again, you are all ganging up in here and if i would have named it "gravity" 1st, all these editors were gonna have problem with that and on JF-17 page, its ferry range is edited 3,000+ with NO source claiming that and one source claiming that its 2,047 so i simple edit that with the reference and editors were still having problem with that and instead! They preferred to write it 3000+ again with NO source... isnt it so wrong? And im also down for talk but nobody responds to that too! They just do what they please... oh u think its right and u wanna join the bandwagon then yea Cheers buddy, great job you are doing there!

Steelpillow What happened now? Why you are not down for debate with me? Just here to block people who are trying to contribute to Wikipedia?

Ah, I see you are using the Mobile editor. That is crap, my apologies there. Scroll down to the very bottom and you will see a "desktop" option. Click that and the tabs I described will come up. But I also gave you a direct link to Talk:HAL Tejas above here, you could have just clicked on that. I also advised you to stop warring while we were talking. You could have done that too but no, you had to carry on fighting the very community you were asking for help. Here's me trying politely to explain things to you and here's you being damn rude back. I don't have to help you, I don't have to give you friendly warnings about what the Administrators may do, I can leave you to rot if you prefer. Can I offer two other tips that will help you make friends: 1) Sign your comments with four tildes, like this:~~~~, this will remind us all who wrote it and when. 2) At the top of this page somebody posted some links to help you find out how we do things here. Follow them. Take the time and trouble to make friends with us and we will take the time and trouble to befriend you. As for the article edits, perhaps if you ask politely and sensibly about them, someone will discuss them sensibly with you. For a start I'd suggest a separate paragraph for each question, not all in one rushed sentence. And do remain WP:POLITE. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 21:24, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
And you have gone right on creating socks. No, you are no friend of Wikipedia, you are WP:NOTHERE. You'll soon find out how we deal with your kind. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 21:31, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Look buddy i dont have much time cuz im a med student, i have interest in Aviation, might even join air force later, thats why i am and i dont have time to make friends here, my only purpose here is to share info with sources and trust me i REALLY wanna correct some informations not according to me but according to the sources i find, i am down for discussion but when you have 4-5 people reverting back without even reading the reference i am providing then its hard to be polite but i am still polite plus i appreciate you guys maintaining Wikipedia and we need you guys here but still some info is incorrect on Wiki and if you wont let others correct it and keep on reverting back then how you gonna make the changes which are necessary. I am ready for discussion and if you want then i am ready to discuss one by one here? ~~~~

Plus i cant go to talk page of HAL Tejas or JF-17 cuz you blocked me and i have only this place left for "talk".

The 48 hour block for warring will end. If you apologise for your multiple accounts and promise not to use them again, it may help prevent that from earning further sanctions. You will then have your opportunity to discuss on the talk pages. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 00:00, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected use of multiple accounts

[edit]

You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Sawan183. Thank you.
