Gemstones Project

Hi Sauli, you could be the one who might ask the Wiki.en gentlemen to whitelist my URL www.realgems.org. Since December 2008 Vsmith & Co. (USA) have deleted all my external links so that all gemstone-interested Wiki users worldwide (! - except Germany) cannot find my collection of faceted gemstones (and their rough versions) any more... From July 2008 until December 2008 all my link additions (to my own, educational and non-profit website) were not regarded as spam!!!

I have sent this message also to Gem-fanat.

Since a few days I have followed the instruction of an English Wiki admin to create something worthy for Wikipedia so that my URL can be whitelisted again. So I created these articles on German Wiki BECAUSE GERMAN WIKI HAS WHITELISTED MY URL BECAUSE THEY HAVE SEEN THAT MY COLLECTION OF MORE THAN 2000 IMAGES IS WORTH BEING LINKED AT WIKIPEDIA: Tugtupite, Jeremejevite, Benitoite and added some data to Red Beryl. What else can I do to reach a worldwide whitelisting?

Diamond cut contribution

Hello, SauliH: The diamond cut page lists the Ideal cut and the Hearts and Arrows phenomenon, but does not list all the versions of round brilliants, such as the passion cut. I posted a paragraph under 'round brilliants' describing the passion cut, but it was deleted by VSmith. I had included links to the passion cut website, which I see now was in error even though he can't sell the diamond to consumers on that or any website. Questions: 1. Since my client is the original source, why cannot I cite his web page? There is no other source to describe this cut. He owns the patent to the cut. He is not trying to sell diamonds on Wikipedia - he can't. He is the inventor/manufacturer. Only retailers can sell it, and he is not a retailer. 2. If other specific diamond cuts are listed, why not this cut? It's design is opposite that of the Hearts and Arrows, which is a value-added discussion to the article, don't you think? 3. I'd like to repost the paragraph, editing it to remove the outside links and make sure it sounds educational, not promotional. Is there a review place that I should post it first, for suggestions and edits to make sure it is in line with what you and the others are looking for? Norreida (talk) 11:22, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
