Block message:
Decline reason: You have been blocked directly as stated in your block log. Since you have not provided a reason for being unblocked, your request has been declined. You may provide a reason for being unblocked by adding {{unblock | your reason here}} to the bottom of your talk page, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. - auburnpilot talk 02:25, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
As the block log doesn't contain an explanation, I'm guessing this was a {{username}} block. - auburnpilot talk 02:26, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Request reason:
I just want to know why I was blocked. All I want to do is make my user page. If I was in fact blocked due to my user name, I'll let you know that it has to do with my religious beliefs, not because I want to be an asshole on your site.
Decline reason:
By now any sort of autoblock on your account would be lifted. If you really want to edit, then do so under another name.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 05:43, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Contacting the blocking administrator. Thanks for your patience while this is sorted out. —Kurykh 00:58, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Hello, Please bear with us, we are seeking feedback from the blocking admin. Spartaz Humbug! 06:58, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not the blocking admin (in fact, I'm not an admin), but it seems to me that this is a username block. If this is the case, the admin should have placed an appropriate message on this page.
- If this is the case, just try a different username and everything should be fine. Od Mishehu 08:02, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

Request reason:
I still have not been given a reason for being blocked. This is looking more and more like religious discrimination. If I really wanted to vandalize this site, how would changing my username effect my actions? If I want to be a jerk I could do it under any name. It doesn't matter if my name was cutefluffybunny or satanswordatwork. satanswordatwork is my online nickname, everywhere. I politely and repectfully demand an answer.
Decline reason:
There's no need to contact the blocking admin. This is a routine case where your account is blocked because its name violates our username policy which forbids "Offensive usernames that may make harmonious editing difficult or impossible, including but not limited to: Usernames that promote a controversial or potentially inflammatory point of view." This really has nothing to do with any sort of discrimination and the username Buddahswordatwork would have gotten the same treatment. — Pascal.Tesson 18:18, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

Request reason:
THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL REQUEST FOR UNBLOCK: I apologize for using the unblock once again but, I thank you for providing an answer. This seems to be the only way I can say anything to anyone with this username and only wish to thank those that tried to help me with this.
AuburnPilot, Kurykh, Pascal.Tesson, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
To the others: a reason would have been a huge help considering that I was trying to keep this name as anyone who knows me online knows the screenname satanswordatwork. I was just trying to stay consistent. "Change your username" doesn't help without a reason as to why I should have changed it. (this is only meant to be constructive criticism)
In conclusion, I will (reluctantly) change my username because I agree that Satanism is still a controversial religion. Again, thank you.
P.S.: Would Xenuswordatwork be ok? (heh)
Please include a decline or accept reason.

[edit]First: you can use {{helpme}} to get assistance. Second, any variation of $DEITYswordatwork is likely to be a problem, try Bob (but resist the temptation to go for Pork). Probably not worth trying to change username, just register a new account and we'll deal with any autoblocks. Cheers, Guy (Help!) 20:08, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
I am not actively editing at the moment, however did catch a post on my talk about this. I apologise for not using a blocking summary (very unlike me and I can only assume an accident). Note that the username policy has changed somewhat in the time since the block (September last year I believe) - where policy stated Inappropriate usernames included[1];
“ | Names of religious figures such as "God", "Jehovah", "Buddha", or "Allah", which may offend other people's beliefs | ” |
And current policy;
“ | Usernames that invoke the name of a religious figure or religion in a distasteful, disrespectful, or provocative way, or promote one religion over another. (Note that simple expressions of faith are allowed unless they are disruptive, but are discouraged.) | ” |
Hope this explains more clearly, and apologies once again. Glen 20:38, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
