Starting article

[edit]

I would like to start a page on a popular Instagram account called The Dogist, which is run by street photographer Elias Weiss Friedman. There is a small Wikipedia page about a short documentary that was made about Friedman and his success with his account, but there is not an actual page about The Dogist account. The photo series is about the beauty of dogs, and depicts captions with interesting quotes from the dog's owners about each dog. The Dogist has nearly 4 million followers on Instagram, and Friedman has formed The Dogist Collective and The Dogist shop to sell merchandise and promote adopting dogs. There have been several articles written about Friedman's success and influence in helping dogs get adopted with his account. -- Sariexley

Review

[edit]

Sariexley, good start, but there's still some work to do before moving it to main. I made some edits and left a few templates in your sandbox, I also moved your intention for the article to the sandbox's talk page (above).

First thing to do is make proper use of citations, see this guide and video tutorials and let me know if you have questions. Also, the article will likely be challenged as not being notable, so it'd be good to develop the content a bit more to show why/how reputable sources discuss the website. Also, questions for additional development:

  • what are some stats about his reach and audience.
  • how were the books received/reviewed?

I think this looks good! I would recommend maybe adding some more citations and maybe separating the paragraphs into separate titled sections, but a great start! Drewcherr327 (talk) 19:18, 12 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
