A tag has been placed on Newport Mesa Unified School District, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. If you plan to provide more material to the article, I advise you to do so immediately, and also put a note on Talk:Newport Mesa Unified School District. An administrator should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 1 under Articles. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page, and then immediately add such material.HighInBC (Need help? Ask me) 18:13, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
radio

Interested in doing an old-time radio show?
[edit]Hi Sarasdano,
I'm the founder of a community radio station in Stouffville, Ontario, Canada (near Toronto). To learn about our station I invite you to visit our site, www.whistleradio.com.
I'm e-mailing to ask if you are interested in doing an old-time radio show? The show would initially be web based, but we have a CRTC (gov't) license to broadcast, and hope to be fully functional in the not-too-distant future. At that time your show could be migrated to "on air".
We're strictly volunteer, but if you're intersted, visit the site and contact me. Thanks!

Niners
[edit]A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Niners, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Fayenatic (talk) 21:54, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- Now that Niners has been merged, split & partly deleted, and Kukalaka has been redirected & its content deleted, you might want to drop them from the list of contributions on your user page.
- By the way, given your interest in the role of memory in narrative, you might enjoy the films of Wong Kar Wai. - Fayenatic (talk) 13:17, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Red roses.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Red roses.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 22:13, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Vole (Star Trek)
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Vole (Star Trek), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Vole (Star Trek). Judgesurreal777 (talk) 21:40, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Fixed. I've merged it with others into a new List of Star Trek animals. - Fayenatic (talk) 23:55, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
File source problem with File:APPLAUSE - original one sheet-1.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:APPLAUSE - original one sheet-1.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:28, 30 June 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 03:28, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:APPLAUSE - original one sheet-1.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:APPLAUSE - original one sheet-1.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 03:29, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Sarasdano. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Sarasdano~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
Community Liaison, Wikimedia Foundation

Kukalaka listed at Redirects for discussion
[edit]An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Kukalaka. Since you had some involvement with the Kukalaka redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. -- Tavix (talk) 04:26, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
