Changing blockquote to text
You can't change a giant blockquote in Mahasiddha to text. That's plagiarism. You barely edited it. See close paraphrasing. I took the entire quotation out because it is too long. Skyerise (talk) 10:40, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
- Ok I will do close paraphrasing. For now, please keep the blocktext Prinaki (talk) 13:52, 18 May 2023 (UTC)

Proper attribution for merges
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Abnormal end into Crash (computing). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 20:42, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thanx for reminding me and writing the attribution. I will do it afterwards. Prinaki (talk) 02:18, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks! Just noting that I have already done it in this case, in the edit summary of this diff, so this was a just a note for future reference. Happy editing. DanCherek (talk) 15:09, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
Deremilla moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Deremilla. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 06:58, 10 July 2023 (UTC)

No comments on Video Games GAN review
Hi Prinaki, it's been more than five days since you started a GA review for an article I've put significant work into, Jonathan Blow, but you have yet to provide any comments. I'm worried that you've forgotten about this review!
Do you intend to review it? If not, or if I don't hear back from you in the coming days, I'll ask for the review to be de-listed so that another editor can commit to the review instead. Neuroxic (talk) 23:29, 12 July 2023 (UTC)
- i don't intend to complete it further. It was a mistake to create it. A lot of Thanks for reminding. Prinaki (talk) 12:23, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know, although I'm a bit annoyed. In the future, please read Wikipedia policy and instructions before engaging with an area of Wikipedia that is new to you. If things are not clear, ask questions (e.g. at the Help Desk.) Please do not waste other people's time by creating unnecessary mess that could have been entirely avoided (e.g. starting a GAN review which you have no intention of finishing.)
- In the case of my GAN article, your actions had no consequences other than delaying the review process by a week, so no harm done. BUT, be aware that there are some things you could do on Wikipedia that could have bad consequences. (And doing them could result in a ban.) In other words, be wary that your actions can create mess, and please put in extra effort to make sure this doesn't happen again.
- I will now task the review you started for deletion. Neuroxic (talk) 13:25, 14 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for telling. If any problem later, I will write to you in talk page. Prinaki (talk) 10:16, 15 July 2023 (UTC)

Your GA review of Zail Singh
Hello! I just happened across your GA review of Zail Singh. I'm afraid that it isn't sufficient to stand for very long. You only made one comment, did not respond to the nominator's question, and then removed your comment. You essentially just passed the article as-is. Even if you think an article is 100% perfect when you review it, you are expected to make comments justifying why it meets each criteria - especially if the article does not need any changes. Please ask for help in reviewing on the GAN talk page. It will likely have to be delisted and re-reviewed. @Ashwin147, I'm tagging you here only as the nominator; I don't think you did anything out of line here, but should try to find someone else to do a proper review of the article if Sarangem does not re-open their own review. —Ganesha811 (talk) 01:38, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
- I had one quick fail, so I assumed this is a quick promote. But @Ganesha811 has valid point, methinks. I'd have liked a more thorough editorial oversight. Again, I don't know how to go about finding "someone else to do a proper review". @Sarangem, I'm happy to work with you if you want to reopen the review. In my 5 GA nominations, I found @Ugog Nizdast and @Ganesha811 to be excellent editors. So if either of you want to have a go at this article or at Shankar Dayal Sharma, that would be great too. ---- Ashwin147 (talk) 02:58, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
- There's really no such thing as a "quick promote", unfortunately. Some reviews are quicker than others, but reviewers are always expected to make comments and suggest improvements; and if there are really no improvements to be made (which is very rare), then reviewers should describe why and justify their decision to promote. —Ganesha811 (talk) 03:01, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
- OK, I will add the comments. I have wrote in a hard copy. Changes would be seen soon. Sarangem (talk) 10:23, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
- Ok, thank you. I've re-opened the GA review. Please close it again after your review, when you decide whether to promote the article or not. —Ganesha811 (talk) 12:22, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
- Have responded to suggestions in the GA Template. Do let me know if anything else needs change. Ashwin147 (talk) 10:16, 20 August 2023 (UTC)

Source check confirmation
Hey Sarangem, I was reviewing Talk:Zail Singh/GA1 for the GA drive and noticed that you haven't mentioned which references you checked in the review. Could you please confirm whether you conducted a source review before passing the article? — Golden talk 20:58, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
- ? — Golden talk 19:19, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, I have checked all the sources Sarangem (talk) 16:51, 26 August 2023 (UTC)
- Do you realise that you haven't actually passed the article? Merely stating that it passed in the review isn't sufficient. Please read this: Wikipedia:Good article nominations/Instructions#Step 4: Finishing the review — Golden talk 20:33, 27 August 2023 (UTC)

September 2023
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into New Parliament House, New Delhi. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. – robertsky (talk) 23:28, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
- I wanted to move, but everytime I wanted to move, it showed error that page already exists. I tried other ways but didn't worked. So the only thing I could do was substitution. I would see if the requested move is performed. But I think Parliament House, New Delhi moved to Samvidhan Sadan. Sarangem (talk) 14:53, 19 September 2023 (UTC)
- Considered yourself warned the second time. You don't get to unilaterally move pages, especially when there have been previous (recent) objections to similar moves. A requested move discussion has been opened: Talk:New_Parliament_House,_New_Delhi#Requested_move_19_September_2023. I strongly encourage that you participate in it. – robertsky (talk) 15:15, 19 September 2023 (UTC)

Copying licensed material requires attribution
Hi. I see in a recent addition to Draft:Omaña river you included material from a webpage that is available under a compatible Creative Commons Licence. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. It's also required under the terms of the license. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. Please let me know if you have any questions. — Diannaa (talk) 16:01, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, as it is also an Wikipedia, I copied from it. I would translate this in about a week and add materials from other references. When I would move it or nominate for review, I would write the note on translating. And use {{Translated}} template on talk page; though I remove poorly sourced material and add other by close paraphrasing. Sarangem (talk) 16:11, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
