Article choice
[edit]I think Brain rot is a great article choice with lots of room to grow. I look forward to seeing what you put together! —mako๛ 06:18, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
Classmate Introduction
[edit]Hey Sarah! My name is Kaili and I am a junior at UW, majoring in Communications and minoring in Business Administration. I'm from Bellevue WA and I enjoy dancing, photography, listening to music or going to concerts, and hanging out with friends. Why did you want to take this class? I registered as I was fascinated by the idea of learning about different online communities and why people are motivated to use them for different purposes. I also feel like in this day and age online communities are super prominent in my life as well as the rest of the college student demographic, so a lot of things I would learn would be super applicable! --Kailikita (talk) 02:18, 14 October 2024 (UTC)

Peer Review Article
[edit]Im writing to inform you that your selected article, CorePower Yoga, was also selected by two of your peers before you got there. Unfortunately, you will have to select a new article. Roller steaks (talk) 22:45, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Roller steaks and Sarahlocke: I've also just unassigned you from the Food journalism article. It turns out that the student who had selected that article made a last minute change to another article. I saw that you made some typos fixes. Thanks for that! If you already did an evaluation, let us know and point us to we can let it slide (i.e., you don't have to do a second one). Sorry for the mess! —mako๛ 18:30, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Benjamin Mako Hill Hi! I made the evaluation for the Food Journalism article about a week ago, as I got last week's and this week's assignments mixed up. Would it be alright if my evaluation and edits were accepted for the assignment? I finished it well before the due date- Thanks Mako! Sarahlocke (talk) 04:22, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Benjamin Mako Hill since I did the assignments together, I finished the reviews and edits for them last Friday. I feel like I might be missing something or not doing something correctly since if I completed them correctly I'm almost sure I would have been the first person to sign up for both/didn't see that others had also chosen the articles that I did. If you are seeing my completion of the assignments, would I be able to keep the two articles I initially picked? If not, I can change my topics, but I don't see how this would have happened since I finished this assignment pretty early. Thanks, sorry for the mix-up! Sarahlocke (talk) 04:28, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hey @Sarahlocke! I see that you got in there and completed the assignment early. I will go ahead and grant you the points. Roller steaks (talk) 23:02, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what happened but thanks for being so one top of things! —mako๛ 21:21, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
