Use quotation marks

[edit]

@SarahLynch: Hello! If you directly quote from a source you need to use quotation marks (".."). Adding a reference is not sufficient if the material you are adding is a direct copy/paste from the source. AugusteBlanqui (talk) 09:20, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Corporation tax in the Republic of Ireland, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 23:24, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
