Speedy deletion of Santiago1313/Sandbox
[edit]Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. JamieS93 01:44, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Your Sandbox
[edit]Hi Santiago1313!
I saw that you just created a sandbox for yourself at: Santiago1313/Sandbox. I've tagged that page for deletion because without the User:
prefix, the page is considered a main Wikipedia article. So, if you want to create a page to test and use as a sandbox for yourself, the best place is at: User:Santiago1313/Sandbox, which is just a sub-page of your username. Update: I see that you've created this page already.
Anyway, just letting you know why I tagged your page for deletion. If you have any questions, let me know! Happy editing. :) --JamieS93 01:49, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, you don't need to do anything at this point. Your new sandbox under the "User:" prefix here is not a speedy-deletion candidate anymore (an admin removed the tag, since there's no reason to delete it, being that it's your own personal sandbox page). Your original page here has been deleted, so you should be good-to-go now. If you want to, you can remove the speedy deletion notice ^above^, since it doesn't apply anymore and the case is settled. Drop me a note if you have any questions in general. I'd love to help out if you ever need it! :) Regards, JamieS93 02:44, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
