[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Bikapur has been reverted.
Your edit here to Bikapur was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (https://m.mapsofindia.com/villages/uttar-pradesh/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 01:59, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please stop changing the names of places in articles to different spellings to those used as our article titles, as you did at Barabanki district. We use the WP:COMMONNAME in English for our articles, not the "official" names, so changing the spelling breaks wikilinks to those articles and is confusing to our readers. Thanks- Taukeerppw (talk) 05:44, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

COMMONNAME

[edit]

Wikipedia has its own rules when the name of a region is changed. It checks whether the new name is globally known as per WP:COMMONNAME. If the new name is more common, then a WP:CONSENSUS and RfC will be arranged in the talk page for change. See Talk:Faizabad district. Still now no consensus has been reached to change the name of the district. It's outcome will affect the Faizabad division article too. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 19:23, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Sultanpur district, you may be blocked from editing. Do not change Faizabad to Ayodhya. Faizabad is the WP:COMMONNAME in Wikipedia. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 19:29, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Goshainganj. Stop changing the WP:COMMONNAME Fylindfotberserk (talk) 19:37, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Sanjay Kumar Tiwari20! I noticed that you recently marked two edits as minor at Faizabad division and Barabanki district that were really very controversial edits. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. -- Toddy1 (talk) 20:02, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  GorillaWarfare (talk) 00:15, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Sanjay Kumar Tiwari20, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
