License tagging for Image:SMT-C101.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:SMT-C101.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit]Hi, first of all, thanks for the contribution you've made to template:Buddhism. But you might want to click "Show Preview" button so that you don't have to edit everytime you find erros in your edit. That would help you minimize your number of edits and this would also help people to track what changes have made to the page. Thank you. Janviermichelle 18:24, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Triratna.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Triratna.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Copyright status
[edit]Dear Sangha,
I noticed that you have added some new articles lately about the Buddha's disciples. Can you tell me what the copyright status of Maha Pajapati Gotami and Kisa Gotami is? It looks like they were taken from another website.—Nat Krause(Talk!) 15:02, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- Hmmmm, well, you should't really use material from another website unless you know what its copyright status is. Maybe you could send them an e-mail asking them what the status is?—Nat Krause(Talk!) 03:59, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
- Well, you shouldn't really use material like that even on a temporary basis. Maha Pajapati and Kisa Gotami has gone 2500 years without a Wikipedia article, so I'm sure they can wait a little while longer while you write some new text. In my estimation, you still haven't changed the text of the Maha Pajapati article enough to avoid copyright problems. That's the problem with using these other articles as a basis for a modified version: when you are looking at them, it can be hard to think of something very different to say.
- Are there any other articles you made that are using text from other websites—Nat Krause(Talk!) 19:43, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Triratnablue.JPG
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Triratnablue.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Jusjih (talk) 04:05, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The file File:Pink lotus.JPG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
