Speedy deletion nomination of Dolichovespula arenaria

[edit]

Hello Sandyamuchimilli,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Dolichovespula arenaria for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Wgolf (talk) 18:35, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I've seen your article in "NewPagesFeed". It had no content and for that reason it was deleted. Anyway, before deletion and trying to save it, I added some content. The page was deleted before my "save" but, fortunately, I had a copy-paste of my text. So, now the article Dolichovespula arenaria exists again, as stub, with all its standard content (taxon infobox, text, references, categories, picture, interwiki projects, etc). I read your message into Wgolf's talk, about the work to expand that page in next months... So, have a nice work :) , I'll help in case of "markup fixes". Note: a new article without content, normally is speedy deleted per A3 criterion. You can use your sandbox before or, at least, tag your new article with the template {{under construction}}. Regards. --Dэя-Бøяg 19:57, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Did you know...?

[edit]

Thank you for your recent contribution to Protopolybia chartergoides.

I wonder if you would like to consider submitting it as a candidate for the "Did you know...?" feature. DYKs (as they are commonly called) are short snippets taken from Wikipedia's newest articles and, if approved, appear on the Main Page. You can learn more about this at Wikipedia:Did you know.

Your article Protopolybia chartergoides appears to meet the criteria for submission as a DYK, but would be greatly improved if you expanded the lead section to briefly summarize the main points of the article. If you choose to submit a short (and interesting) fact from your article, please read the rules and the supplementary guidelines carefully. Please ask me if you have further questions.

According to the DYK tool, your article was created or expanded on October 17. DYKs must be nominated within 7 days of the creation or 5-fold expansion of the article, so if you choose to submit your article, please act quickly! Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:07, 20 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
