Bot
Hey Sk8er5000. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to be on IRC later, and I needed to tell you this, so I'll tell you here. I finished an early version of the bot: User:Archanamiya/bots/Sk8er5000Bot.php.
I haven't tested with a real edit yet, but it performed very during some dry runs.
You will need to have this file in the same directory as the bot file: botclasses.php.
Message me if you have any problems. Cheers —archanamiya · talk 08:27, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
Problems?
What problems were you having with the bot. I tested on my machine, and it worked flawlessly. Did you get the latest version. Paste any errors you got.
Thanks. —archanamiya · talk 22:25, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
- Alright then. I'll zip my folder and upload it somewhere so you can have my exact code. I'll do that in a few minutes. Also, if all else fails, I could always run it on my machine.
Cheers, archanamiya · talk 22:38, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
.zip file
Here's the .zip file I made of the bot. This is exactly what I have on my machine (minus my login details) and I've verified that it works (on Linux). Best of luck. Tell me any errors you encounter.

- I can't do it on Linux. So I emailed it. Good luck, archanamiya · talk 01:23, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
Hey Skater-- both yourself and your bot, Sk8er5000Bot, have added a WikiProject Music Video Games tag to Betty Boop's Double Shift, a game which for the most part is a Diner Dash clone and not a music video game save for a minigame which must be performed at very small intervals. I know it's a rather minor thing, but is there any way to make the bot stop adding the tag? -- Nomader (Talk) 05:28, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
- Hey it's not a problem at all-- I went ahead and removed the category from the article. Sorry for bothering you about that and good luck with your project! -- Nomader (Talk) 05:33, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
I see
I see. Will you be on IRC later? It will be easier to discuss there. Cheers, archanamiya · talk 23:56, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

The 2010 WikiCup begins tomorrow!
Welcome to the biggest WikiCup Wikipedia has yet seen! Round one will take place over two months, and finish on February 26. There is only one pool, and the top 64 will progress. The competition will be tough, as more than half of the current competitors will not make it to round 2. Details about scoring have been finalized and are explained at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Scoring. Please make sure you're familiar with the scoring rules, because any submissions made that violate these rules will be removed. Like always, the judges can be reached through the WikiCup talk pages, on their talk page, or over IRC with any issues concerning anything tied to the Cup. We will keep in contact with you via weekly newsletters; if you do not want to receive them, please remove yourself from the list here. Conversely, if a non-WikiCup participant wishes to receive the newsletters, they may add themselves to that list. Well, enough talk- get writing! Your submission's page is located here. Details on how to submit your content is located here, so be sure to check that out! Once content has been recognized, it can be added to your submissions page, from which our bot will update the main score table. Remember that only articles worked on and nominated during the competition are eligible for points. Have fun, and good luck! Garden, iMatthew, J Milburn, and The ed17 19:23, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
