Lars Von Trier
[edit]Please see my remarks on the Lars Von Trier Talk page, under the "Vandalism" section.86.44.85.117 (talk) 08:16, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- I am able to find the talk page myself, thank you. Several people have already given various good reasons as to why your edit was inappropriate. This persistence is bordering to harassment. Sandertams (talk) 13:55, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
there is nothing disruptive about my adding more neutral and complete info to the article; it's rather you who are disrupting reader's access to the truth. why don't you try thinking things through and responding with some real content instead of making false claims: there is NO consensus, just 3 people opposed without rational reasons and 2 for keeping in the unbiased truth who have given detailed explanations of their reasons-- see the Trier talk page Alis9 (talk) 14:29, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

The Exceptional Newcomer Award
[edit]The Exceptional Newcomer Award | ||
I hereby present the Exceptional Newcomer Award to Sandertams for incisive editing and an unflinching commitment to neutrality on the article Lars von Trier, and an uncanny ability to keep calm and collected when faced with the most accusatory of comments. You have shown judgement far beyond your edit count. — Mr. Stradivarius ♫ 06:50, 1 June 2011 (UTC) |
Discussion involving transgender issues
[edit]You may want to be aware of and possibly join in: Wikipedia:Village pump (policy)/Archive 121#MOS:IDENTITY clarification. Skyerise (talk) 06:28, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
MOS:IDENTITY is being revisited: How should Wikipedia refer to transgender individuals before and after their transition?
[edit]You are being contacted because you contributed to a recent discussion of MOS:IDENTITY that closed with the recommendation that Wikipedia's policy on transgender individuals be revisited.
Two threads have been opened at the Village Pump:Policy. The first addresses how the Manual of Style should instruct editors to refer to transgender people in articles about themselves (which name, which pronoun, etc.). The second addresses how to instruct editors to refer to transgender people when they are mentioned in passing in other articles. Your participation is welcome.
