Information icon Hello, I'm STATicVapor. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Seth Rollins, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! StaticVapor message me! 23:21, 9 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wednesday Night Wars moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Wednesday Night Wars, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 05:16, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not introduce inappropriate pages, such as Draft:Wednesday Night Wars, to Wikipedia. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Christian Eriksen

[edit]

Your reference used to support the Fabrice Muamba comparison was entirely inappropriate, given it did not mention Eriksen at all. I have replaced it. GiantSnowman 14:55, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have just notice you have been blocked for BLP violations previously. As such please consider this a final warning. The next time you add unreferenced or inadequately referenced content to BLPs you will be indefinitely blocked per WP:BLP and WP:CIR, OK? GiantSnowman 14:56, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The reference was specifically not intended to mention Erikson, as that section of the paragraph was stating the comparison to Muamba, and was intended to support the Muamba incident. I’m not sure how you could interpret that as inappropriate. One moment I get scolded for not provided references and the next I get scolded for not providing an “appropriate” reference when I see nothing inappropriate about it. We’ll have to agree to disagree I suppose. Apologies if I am in the wrong, but I stand by my reference being entirely suitable for the context of the section it was given for. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited El Hijo del Vikingo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bandido. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

You have shown interest in abortion. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. Your recent editing history at Chris Beniot shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. I have reverted your placement of this image on Mug shot due to it failing the requirements of WP:NFCC #10c, and for failing WP:NFC#UUI #6. There is already a dedicated article about the image located at Mug shot of Donald Trump. While it is fine to place a link to that article elsewhere on the project, posting the image elsewhere on the project is generally not allowed, per WP:NFC#UUI #6. If you have questions about this, let me know. Thanks, --Hammersoft (talk) 02:11, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
