Caption punctuation
[edit]Hello SFV!
Thanks for your edits. But I want bring to your attention Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Captions, which says that only when they are complete sentences should we place periods at the end of them. SamEV (talk) 17:37, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Please don't just delete stuff on your talk page
[edit]Especially when you delete them without addressing the concerns left by other people. It's also rude to delete stuff using edit summaries saying that you're removing vandalism, NPOV, etc. The NPOV policy only applies to the main article space so there can be POV in other pages such as user talk pages. Please, instead of deleting questions left by other users, simply reply politely. --seav (talk) 17:16, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- In addition, the edit summaries you have used when removing these comments, with their unfounded accusations of vandalism, fanaticism and ignorance,[1][2] are considered personal attacks. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks which you may consult at the page Wikipedia:No personal attacks. Repeated personal attacks may result in loss of editing privileges. --Rrburke(talk) 17:43, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
Date Range Formatting
[edit]Please refrain from changing date ranges in this manner: [3]. Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that dictates how date ranges should be displayed; basically, year ranges should use an en-dash to separate years in a range. More details on the specifics are available at WP:YEAR. SheepNotGoats (Talk) 18:22, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
