I was trying to set up a page for my company, and was citing the most reliable sources I can find (media coverage, mostly). It has been declined due to promotion, and I have come to understand that it would be best to reach out to a wikipedia representative to help us create the page instead, as my doing so would be a conflict of interest. I am not able to request assistance for a wikipedia page creation as I am currently blocked. Thank you and hoping for your kindest consideration.

Decline reason:

Wikipedia does not have pages for companies, it has articles about companies, typically written by independent editors. Those articles summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Wikipedia has no interest in what a company wants to say about itself, only in what others completely unconnected with the company choose to say about it. The text that you wrote was some of the most promotional text I have seen in my time here, and used sources that are not acceptable for establishing notability. Please review conflict of interest and paid editing. As you don't indicate how you wish to participate in this project to write an encyclopedia of human knowledge other than to promote your company(we won't unblock you to just request someone write about your company), there is no reason to lift the block.
