I am a custodian of this monastery, Sobrang is a total miss pronounciation and also does not appear in any of the primary sources of this monastery. Kindly consider my contributions to make it constructive as I could not recreate a new page for this SamtenYeshi (talk) 17:02, 14 December 2019 (UTC)
སུམ་འཕྲང་ is the Dzongkha spelling Sobrang is nonsense. Even the name of the village is known as Sombrang and degenerated version of Sumtrhang. For monastery we retain the old name as is found in primary sources. I am trying to make this piece as accurate as it can be SamtenYeshi (talk) 17:05, 14 December 2019 (UTC)
There is no Sobrang Monastery, I would like to request you to change the title to Sumtrhang Monastery please. There is no Sobrang Monastery as such. As I said you seems to have taken village name for the monastery and even the village is known as Sombrang not Sobrang. SamtenYeshi (talk) 17:13, 14 December 2019 (UTC)
