Speedy deletion nomination of Henry Wiggins
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that the page that you created was tagged as a test page and has been or soon may be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Tchaliburton (talk) 04:59, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
Connect on Normanhurst Boys High School and Hornsby Girls High School
[edit]I've removed the content that you added regarding Connect at these two schools. The programs, as you describe, are not run by the schools and are therefore not co-curricular activities of the school. I've opened threads for discussion at Talk:Normanhurst Boys High School and Talk:Hornsby Girls High School. You're also welcome to bring the issue up at either the Education in Australia Wikiproject and/or Schools Wikiproject for opinions from other wikipedia editors who typically edit in schools. ˜danjel [ talk | contribs ] 07:55, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
April 2012
[edit]Your recent editing history at Normanhurst Boys High School shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. ˜danjel [ talk | contribs ] 10:51, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
