[edit]article url = https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthropology_of_media
"Other types include cyber anthropology, a relatively new area of internet research, as well as ethnographies of other areas of research which happen to involve media, such as development work, social movements, human rights [5]or health education."
- Being that any topic to do with cyber interests me, this sentence really stuck out to me defining the study of cyber anthropology.
- I checked all the links and they all work perfectly fine.
- Citations are successfully supporting the claims in this article - References are properly stated in the article "Given such differences, anthropologists who take an interest in the media see themselves as forming a distinct subfield from ethnographic approaches to media studies and cultural studies."
- an interesting point to see that it was once a subcategory of anthropology, but becomes a lot more distant as time progresses and more studies take place.
- the article was last edited on September 17, 2016
- this article is different from the topics we discuss in class because we never discuss the anthropology of media but rather just social media and its impact on mass movements
- The article seems to be pretty neutral
