User talk:Sam Arium
Hiya Sam!
This is a standard boilerplate introduction; I guess you have a good idea about a lot of it anyway but there are some good guidelines on there, so here goes:
Welcome!
Hello, Sam Arium, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!
You sent me the message with no problems, by the way - that's how you do it (put an edit on someone's talk page). Some people prefer to carry on a conversation on one page, others split each side of the conversation between the two participants.
If you have questions either give me a shout or stick {{helpme}} on your userpage, or ask on Wikipedia:New contributors' help page. All the best, and enjoy contributing! Tonywalton | Talk 22:12, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
