adding wikified sources on wikipedia

[edit]

Hi, there's various citation templates if you would like to use that. If they seem too cumbersome, you can put a reliable source in a brackets with the text after, for example [https://en.wikipedia.org text appears like this] to get text appears like this. if you stick that link in ref tags (<ref>[wikipedia.org foobar]</ref>, you'll get a source that appears like how youre used to seeing wikipedia sources with all the heavy lifting done for you.

Of course, it is preferable if you add sources with the templates, but if thats too cumbersome to make you want to edit, you can do it the way I've described, no problem. Better to have you contributing than not. :) DarmaniLink (talk) 16:43, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
