User talk:Sam3077
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Sam3077, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Prosoft Engineering, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! — Jeff G. ツ 04:59, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
Please help me, Jeff G.

@Jeff G.: : Thanks for reaching out and helping out with my questions. All the edits that I made were to improve the page and add cited pages to prove the information on the page itself. I also removed information that could have made the page seem biased and removed information that could not be cited.
Can you please review the edits that I have made and let me know how I can improve it. I have saved a draft of the page of the edits that I have done as nothing has been removed yet.
I will be reading through your recommended pages to get a better understanding of how to create and recommend proper edits/pages.
My goal is to create wiki pages for the companies software to mimic other companies that do similarly. If there is a specific process on how to do this, please, let me know the process.
Thanks in advance for everything.

- Hi Sam3077
- 1) As your request is directed at Jeff G., I have closed the helpme query.
- 2) Also I've corrected your ping: their user name contains a space, and without it the ping does not work.
- 3) Regarding your edit, I would strongly recommend not pulling information from the official website. It can be promotional there. I would suggest to add related information, as well as extra information such as user reviews and reception, from external sources.
- Regards, --Gryllida (talk) 00:49, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
- What is your financial relationship with Prosoft Engineering Inc.? — Jeff G. ツ 00:59, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
- Hello, Gryllida,
- Thank you for the corrections on my post. I appreciate it.
- Okay, I will attempt to go through the page and make corrections as needed. I'll reach out to one of you for review once I have completed the edits. The only reason why I directed to the website was to ensure that the correct up to date versions were shown.
- @Jeff G.: I am currently an employee of Prosoft Engineering Inc. Where would I disclose my employer and affiliation? I just want Prosoft Engineering to have an up to date wiki and to create wiki pages for there products. I have no problem having it revised and edited beforehand. I just want the information available to the internet.

- Please read and heed the advice in The plain and simple conflict of interest guide I linked above before your next edit related to Prosoft Engineering. — Jeff G. ツ 16:24, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Jeff G.: Thank you, can you please confirm that I correctly imputed the banner mentioned in Template:Paid into my user page? Once again, than you for all the help and useful guides --Sam3077 (talk) 17:28, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks. I would change "My" to "His", "Her", or "Their" to agree with the first sentence. — Jeff G. ツ 18:20, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for all the help once more. I fixed it --Sam3077 (talk) 19:01, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
