Edit summaries
[edit]Hi, Salt! When I saw this edit, I decided to revert it. Air Jamaica's article needs a shot of the head office.
Anyhow, when you remove stuff or make major changes, please state what you do in your edit summaries. Thanks WhisperToMe (talk) 07:05, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
- Ditto. It would have been helpful in figuring out what you were trying to do here. Anyway, and IP user has reverted your addition, also without an edit summary, so we don't know why he deleted it! Thanks. - BilCat (talk) 10:27, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to an article, specifically Caribbean Airlines-Air Jamaica Transition Limited, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. Please note that we take very seriously our criteria on non-free image uploads and users who repeatedly upload or misuse non-free images may be blocked from editing. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. ΔT The only constant 15:18, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
How is there a violation of Wikipedia's non-free image policy? Are you saying that an image cannot be duplicated along other articles? The image used in the said article is necessary as the newly merged company has exclusive rights over the images and name 'Air Jamaica'. There has been no new or updated logo! --Saltprune416 (talk) 15:25, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
- Please review our non-free content policy secificly 10c. every image must have a rationale for every usage. ΔT The only constant 15:34, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
This is your last warning; the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Caribbean Airlines-Air Jamaica Transition Limited, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. ΔT The only constant 15:30, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
- To echo what Delta said above, every instance of that image MUST have a fair use rationale for it - and the burden of proof is on the person who wants to add it. If you want it there, you MUST add a fair-use rationale for it, and that rationale MUST satisfy all the criteria. Continually readding the image without adding a fair use rationale constitutes a copyright violation. [stwalkerster|talk] 15:52, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
Air Jamaica
[edit]I looked at your edits to Air Jamaica.
The AJ website still says that AJ is headquartered in Kingston. Until that information changes, please state that it is headquartered in Kingston, even though the parent company is based in Trinidad. WhisperToMe (talk) 07:29, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
Warning
[edit]Some of your uploads have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder and you have also claimed ownership of images that are clearly not yours. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Please note as you have been warned before you may not get another warning before being blocked from editing. MilborneOne (talk) 19:01, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:CaribbeanAirlinesLogo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:CaribbeanAirlinesLogo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Your contributed article, List of Caribbean countries by GDP per capita
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, List of Caribbean countries by GDP per capita. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - List of countries by GDP per capita. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of countries by GDP per capita - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Toddst1 (talk) 01:57, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Oath of Citizenship (Trinidad and Tobago)
[edit]Hello Saltprune416. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Oath of Citizenship (Trinidad and Tobago)".
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{db-afc}}

Trinidad
[edit]Dear Saltprune,
quick question: Are you actually living in Trinidad, or are you there on a regular basis? I saw you adding photos of places in Trinidad. I'm maintaining the T&T portal in the German Wikipedia, which has a "picture missing" section, and I thought maybe you could help out with a picture or two. Any help appreciated.
Kind regards from rainy Germany, Grueslayer Let's talk. 06:53, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
Hello, I currently reside in Trinidad for the time being. Willing to assist however I can. Saltprune416
- Hi Saltprune,
- the following topics lack pictures, at least I haven't found any on Commons. I'll just list; them some are impossible to shoot because they're unaccessible or long dead people. The list: Anthony Carmona, Anthony de Verteuil, Anti-Everything, Ato Boldon Stadium, Buccoo Reef Trust, Buljol, Canaan (Tobago), Caroni (1975) Limited, Cassareep, Cerro del Aripo, Chaguanas, C. L. R. James, Dionne Brand, Dwight Yorke Stadium, Fort San Andres, George Michael Chambers, Kerwin Du Bois, Kuchela, Lord Invader, Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Martín de Salaverría, Michael Anthony (Author), Point Fortin, Russell Latapy, Tamana, Thomas Hislop, 1. Baronet, Tour of Trinidad and Tobago, Trinidadguan, V. S. Naipaul, Wendy Fitzwilliam In case you accidentally happen to pass one of these places, people or things and have a camera with you, do you think you could take shot? I myself will be back in Trinidad in February and see if I can achieve anything.
- Kind regards, Grueslayer Let's talk. 19:06, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
Hello, I'll definitely assist you where I can, its harder to get photos of people but places shouldn't be an issue. I have quite a few pictures of Tobago and will go through them to see if anything matches your request. Saltprune416

CARICOM passport and non-free file usage
[edit]Hi Saltprune416. File:Saint Kitts and Nevis passport.jpg (unlike all of the other files used in CARICOM passport#Gallery of CARICOM common design passports) is non-free, which means that each usage of it in a Wikipedia article is subject to WP:NFCC. This particular usage does not comply with WP:NFCC#10c and WP:NFCC#8 (WP:NFG), so it should not be used in CARICOM passport, at least not in that particular way. More details about this have been posted at Talk:CARICOM passport#Usage of non-free Saint Kitts and Nevis passport.jpg. If you wish to discuss this further, please feel free to do so there. If, however, you would like another opinion on this or feel NFCC is not applicable to this particular case, you can ask for further clarification at WP:MCQ or WP:FFD if you like. Thanks in advance. -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:58, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
Non-free image usage
[edit]Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to a page, specifically CARICOM passport, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 23:00, 13 June 2016 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on CARICOM passport. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. -- Marchjuly (talk) 23:04, 13 June 2016 (UTC)
