As an experienced editor very interested in this subject, I give you he very strong advice that you use this material to add a section on the blog to the main article on the project.

What should basically be merged is the third paragraph, avoiding the repetition of a general description of the project. void phrase in the second person, such as " If you don’t know where to start, this is as good a place as any"

I note that you are apparently the creator of the blog. As such, I would suggest you not include your own name in the material. Please see our practical guide to conflict of interest, WP:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide
