Invitation to participate in an interview!

[edit]

Hello Sakshi!

My name is Jadine, and I am an undergraduate researcher from the University of Toronto. I'm currently looking to get in touch with female Indian editors for my research on the Indian Wikipedian gender gap. I saw your name in the list of participants in the Wiki Women's Workshop that took place in Bangalore on the 9th of March (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wiki_Women%27s_Workshop_by_FSMK_and_WMIN), and I'd be really interested in talking to you about your experiences as an editor, if you are willing!

If you're interested in speaking to me about this, or just want to find out more about my research (or if you just want to say "hi!"), please contact me by replying on my talk page. Thanks! Bluujayy (talk) 09:44, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

AdaCamp Bangalore in November

[edit]

Hi! I wanted to make sure you heard that AdaCamp will happen in Bangalore this November. http://adainitiative.org/2014/07/applications-open-for-adacamp-berlin-and-adacamp-bangalore/ It's an unconference for women interested in open source software, open technology, and open culture. I've been to AdaCamp a few times and found it enriching. Please put your name in!
