The celebration of Shri 1008 Bhagwan Mahavir Swami's 2623rd birth anniversary was joyously celebrated in the city with great reverence and enthusiasm. The event was organised by Jain Seva Mandal Nagpur and held at Suresh Bhatt Hall, Reshimbagh. Despite the intense heat, people of all ages, from children to the elderly, enthusiastically participated in the religious programme. The statue of Lord Mahavir, who gave the message of truth, non-violence, charity and mercy to the whole world, was consecrated here.
