A tag has been placed on Johan Angga Kesuma requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — Timneu22 · talk 14:19, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Creating BLP stubs without adequate categories or references

[edit]

Sorry, have we missed something somewhere? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Munadi is simply not on - it is a WP:BLP issue, as with the others - there are issues about creating these sort of stubs - have you read any of your messages yet? You might find more of your stubs created are going to get deleted if they do not have references. Please respond - either english or indonesian - to show you have understood - otherwise an admin might take umbrage that you are repeatedly creating BLPS with no refs and block you! Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Saint Samuel! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 3 of the articles that you created are currently tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 290 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Wildansyah - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Djayusman Triasdi - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Advice and Warning

[edit]

As the reviewing administrator for these deletions, I need to offer you some advice. We are very glad to have articles about footballers from all countries,  but  they MUST have references. If they  have appeared in games on the highest level national league---which is the basic requirement for them to have articles in Wikipedia-- there should always be references in the relevant national newspapers usually easily findable in Google News and Google News Archive. There should also  be a discussion or at least a listing of them in the web site for their team, and a listing in the general football web sites. These references need to be added, and they need to be added at the very beginning.

Sometimes I have been able to check   articles like these  before deletion and add at least one necessary reference, but I cannot promise always to have the time to do so--and football is not one of the subjects in which I have the most personal interest.  It is not my responsibility to do this, nor the responsibility of anyone here but yourself. If you can write the article in the first place , you surely  have the references in front of you when you are doing so, in order to get the names right and add the key statistics. That's when to do it, and it is your job to do it. It is unfair to expect others to fill in what you can do so easily.  I expect that you will start doing this, otherwise you may find that you are wasting your efforts, because the articles will get deleted. I have other responsibilities, and it is taking too much of my available time here to do your work for you, when there are so many other things that need fixing.

In particular, I am not going to work further on the currently nominated articles. If you want them kept, work on  them yourself.   DGG ( talk ) 16:13, 22 August 2010 (UTC) [reply]

File source problem with File:Haris.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Haris.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 10:00, 5 September 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Acather96 (talk) 10:00, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Haris.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Ferusu.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 10:12, 5 September 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Acather96 (talk) 10:12, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Ambrizal, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article that does not provide sufficient context to identify its subject. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please either stop creating incorrect WP:BLP stubs - or learn from the corrections that others have had to do to cleanup after you !!!

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: AA Ngurah Wahyu. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article AA Ngurah Wahyu has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. This is a very serious matter: you've had numerous warnings here regarding this. To date you have not engaged with the community in any way, so in order to have the block removed you will be required to follow the instructions below and explain why you should have your editing privilege restored. I am happy for another admin to do so if satisfied with the response. –Moondyne 09:00, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
