Welcome again

[edit]

Thank you for trying to help with today's featured article. However, such article has always been reviewed by multiple editors. I tried to explain why I reverted you in the edit summaries but am not sure if you have discovered how to read article history, by clicking "view history". Do you need more explanation about why interlanguage links are helpful? -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:21, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Gerda Arendt No, yeah, I understood. Thank you. VSankeerthSai1609 (talk) 11:22, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi VSankeerthSai1609! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Kolkata rape and murder incident that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 13:27, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oh okay! Noted. VSankeerthSai1609 (talk) 13:28, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to 2019 Hyderabad gang rape and murder. Hello, can you please explain the reason for this edit, it was already discussed on the talkpage and concluded to avoid naming the victim. I.Mahesh (talk) 00:42, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:54, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
