File permission problem with File:Krishnudu.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Krishnudu.jpg.

I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  1. make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  2. Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license.

You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 23:58, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Naan Kadavul, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tamil (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Regarding Rename

[edit]

Hello, The discussion of Moving the Response by PM section to Response section is concluded. If you want to rename the the header section to Government Response , simply raise the New discussion on Article talk page, & I will be their for help, thanks (Mr.Mani Raj Paul (talk) 17:16, 22 March 2020 (UTC))[reply]

I did not notice. I checked your message and replied. SaiP (talk) 17:43, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, 2020 stock market crash in India, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Sanyam.wikime (talk) 05:47, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Sanyam.wikime: Thanks for help. I am in process of completing the article. I hope you won't delete it stating it is not needed. I feel it is essential because it is about current ongoing crash which is due to Ongoing COVID019 Crisis. SaiP (talk) 07:07, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@SaiP: Thanks for creating the article on 2020 stock market crash in India. But it seems that you have not added any substantial information to the article, there's just an infobox and no references and citations. I suggest you to work on the article in draftspace and submit for an review on completion. Th article was moved from mainspace to drafspace not because of notability issues, but beacuse of issues mentioned above. - Sanyam.wikime (talk) 10:30, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Sanyam.wikime: No problem at all. I completely understand. I will submit the article soon for review. Do we have a minimum length of article for submission? I am asking this because this is a ongoing event. SaiP (talk) 10:39, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@SaiP: If by minimum length you mean artcile size, there is no standard limit afaik. But you should add substantial content with reliable references. It states here that When you feel that the article is ready, you can submit it for review by an experienced editor....A reviewer will then look at your draft and move it to the main article space or give you feedback on how to improve it. You can always edit the page, even while waiting for a review.

[edit]

Hi. Can you upload the PM's second speech from Youtube to commons like you did the first? I tried to do it using video2commons just now but I get errors. Thanks. Shanze1 (talk) 11:05, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Shanze1 Sure, I will do. SaiP (talk) 11:10, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Shanze1 I am getting errors as well 👉 An exception occurred: DownloadError: ERROR: ffmpeg exited with code 1. Is the one you are getting as well? I will try after sometime.SaiP (talk) 11:48, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@SaiP: It's not the same error. I got: "HTTP Error 429: Too Many Requests". Thanks for trying. Yeah, it should clear up in a while I guess. Shanze1 (talk) 11:51, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Shanze1: Let me try in a while. I will let you know. If I can't you can give it a try. Let's not both try at once. SaiP (talk) 12:12, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@SaiP: Sure. Shanze1 (talk) 12:14, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Shanze1: Hi Shanze1, Same error. Do you want to give it a try? Once tried let me know, I will explore other options. SaiP (talk) 15:33, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@SaiP: Yes, tried just now. Failed again. Shanze1 (talk) 15:35, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Shanze1: Let's give it sometime. Will try again tomorrow and explore other options too. Could you throw some light on

Shanze1 If you would have noticed, I succeeded in uploading the video and have added to the article. I wanted to inform you. SaiP (talk) 13:30, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I noticed. I also added it on the lockdown article. Thanks for the help 👍. Shanze1 (talk) 13:34, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Shanze1 My pleasure! Off late, I am seeing you less here, busy with something else, we definitely contributions and participation of you. SaiP (talk) 13:52, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@SaiP: Yes, I was a bit busy working on Tamil Wikipedia. I try to chip in whenever I can to update articles here. Do let me know if you need assistance with anything in particular. I also want to try and restructure the main article like you suggested a while back. But I think we can do that after things calm down with more inputs from editors. @Shanze1: Sure, definitely. SaiP (talk) 14:41, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, SaiP. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "2020 stock market crash in India".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 18:56, 3 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
