[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages (including user talk pages) such as Talk:Madison Cawthorn are for discussion related to improving (a) an encyclopedia article in specific ways based on reliable sources or (b) project policies and guidelines. They are not for general discussion about the article topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 06:24, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
You suggested making edits to Madison Cawthorn’s page ourselves, however this page is locked and unable to be edited. The suggestion is that conflicting facts be removed from the header and allegations be removed from the body of the page. Why is this so difficult to accomplish or understand? Important Notice
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

[edit]You really really need to read wp:forum wp:soap and wp:npa. Article wp:talk pages are not for attacking the project or other editors, but for suggesting how to improve aticles.Slatersteven (talk) 15:37, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
People need to stand up against the echo chambers that have been created. The ability for small groups of people who all follow the same blind beliefs to silence those they disagree with is incredibly dangerous to our society. A place like Wikipedia where millions get their information is no place for one sided opinions and slander. CNN, Fox and other forms of admittedly bias media, should not be considered valid citations. Just as Wikipedia is never allowed to be used as citation in schools. It may not be the right place, but it is the only place to try. Saddario25 (talk) 15:43, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
- And read wp:not and wp:rightgreatwrongs, we go with what wp:rs say. These are our policies, you either obey them or end up with a ban.Slatersteven (talk) 15:45, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
I read the pages. I understand now. I thought “talk” meant we were able to talk. I’ve read others posts and assumed that was the place to write about the page. I just wish Wikipedia was better is all. Thanks for sharing the information pages. Saddario25 (talk) 16:04, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
