Molecular Biology course

[edit]

Hi Katherine. How you are enjoying the course so far? I find the material we are covering very interesting, and especially enjoy the discussions. I have learnt a lot from the postings, and it nice to read the different perspectives on a topic. SabFernMB (talk) 23:59, 15 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I am recovering from an injury, as well, I rolled my ankle in a game last week :( My favorite team is Barcelona, but I'll watch pretty much anyone!

I am enjoying the course and topics, too! Where are you from? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Klbarnhill (talkcontribs) 00:25, 19 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Katherine, I hope your injury heals quickly. I dont have a favourite team, but enjoy watching the premier league and Champions league games. I tend to root for the underdogs:). I am from Toronto, and I am enjoying the cold weather.SabFernMB (talk) 03:31, 19 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

[edit]

Hello Sabina,

I am one of your online ambassadors. I am around to help you out. You can contact me by email or on my talk page. Since I'm in Australia my timezone is quite different to yours. I have no special knowledge of molecular biology, but I am hoping that you can write so that I can understand it! Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:29, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Graeme, Nice to "meet" you. I am new to Wiki, and I am still figuring out my way around the website. I happy to know that I can contact you if I need any help. Thanks. SabFernMB (talk) 01:54, 4 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:3D cystral structure of human mRNA guanylyltransferase.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. James086Talk 04:04, 30 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the feedback. This was my first time uploading an image, and was not sure if I was doing it correctly or if it can be used. I am assuming the image will be deleted as per speedy deletion. Please let me know if I have to take further actions. SabFernMB (talk) 03:10, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

IP address

[edit]

Hi Sabina,

Thank you for contacting me on this issue. Unfortunately, there is no way to go back and refactor an edit ascribed to an IP address so that the relevant user is credited. If the IP address is unique to you and is often one by which you edit, you can choose to indicate that address on your user page. Please let me know if you have any further questions on this or any other editing-related subjects.

Neelix (talk) 02:08, 23 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Neelix Thanks for the quick response. I am more concerned about a security risk. I prefer not to add the IP address to my user page. SabFernMB (talk) 02:38, 23 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Capping enzyme, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page NELF (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I wish you well in your future studies! Klortho (talk) 02:17, 12 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
