Redirecting your user page
I'm sorry but you can't actually redirect your user page outside Wikipedia. By all means write a link saying something like,
"I'm most active in wikibooks. See my user page there."
But you can't physically redirect, sorry. --Celestianpower hab | myRFA 15:59, 24 August 2005 (UTC)
- yes - I would say so personally. --Celestianpower hab | myRFA 20:14, 24 August 2005 (UTC)
Lavandula x intermedia
Hello. I think such crossbreeds can easily be redirected without categorizing a single hint. De728631 (talk) 16:05, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well, redirecting to a redirect doesn't work, so I pointed both of them to Lavender. Maybe you could point out some specific features of L x intermedia in the main article? As you put it in a category for medicinal plants, maybe that section at Lavender is interesting. De728631 (talk) 16:25, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
- Oh. In that case you could just have used [[Lavender|Dutch Lavender]]. But now we've got a valid redirect if someone is looking for that term. De728631 (talk) 16:52, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Hinckley Yachts
A tag has been placed on Hinckley Yachts requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. justinfr (talk/contribs) 13:59, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
public demo of Swiftfuel
Now that is a nice thing to add. A few more of those and we might even have a notable and verifiable topic! Thanks. HatlessAtless (talk) 19:49, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your comment on my talk page. The truth is out there. Of course, it takes time to find it. --SV Resolution(Talk) 19:55, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
- The truth may be out there, but I'd done some pretty good digging. I wouldn't have nominated it for deletion if I hadn't. I'm impressed with your research skills that you not only found something I hadn't, but you found something quite good. HatlessAtless (talk) 20:06, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
- Just goes to show that local newspapers like the Carroll County Comet are still relevent when the reporters keep covering those "boring" meetings. --SV Resolution(Talk) 20:20, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
Help requested
Hi, I am a bit new here but I looked at the talk page for Keepcalmandcarryon and I need someone that can help calm him down a bit over on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspartame_controversy. Please have a look at the edit history and the talk page and give your opinion, thank you. Unomi (talk) 22:01, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
Edit in your namespace
I understood that you proposed to work in you namespace. If not, obviously, feel fre to delete what you deem. Regarding Keep and Tom you can see by yourself as they are aggressive and not very fancy of wikilove. :-) --Calgaco (talk) 16:44, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
Talkback
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Re Great Work
Just wanted to let you know that I have been following your work, sorry for not being much a help thus far but I think you are doing a great job! :) Unomi (talk) 13:49, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'm glad things are a bit calmer at Aspartame controversy, but wish there was some collegial back-and-forth to help advance the article. Once the drama dropped, the editors left. It's unfortunate. --SV Resolution(Talk) 14:38, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
No worries :)
It wasn't exactly obvious from the context, especially with it being a 1-2 line stub, so I can see how it happened. Orderinchaos 23:19, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
Looks good, go ahead and redirect it, I don't think anyone will mind. Good job!--Mike - Μολὼν λαβέ 04:39, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. Someone at Barlow knife did not agree with my earlier attempt. Let's see if they'll reconsider if I follow procedure this time. --SV Resolution(Talk) 14:36, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of University of the poor
The article University of the poor has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- A search for references failed to find significant coverage in reliable sources to comply with notability requirements. This included web searches for news coverage, books, and journals, which can be seen from the following links:
University of the poor – news, books, scholar Consequently, this article is about a subject that appears to lack sufficient notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Abductive (talk) 20:03, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
